Posted on 2020-11-09 By Aman Kelley

Is the lament configuration real?

The Lament Configuration is a fictional lock puzzle or puzzle box appearing in horror stories by Clive Barker, or in works based on his original stories. The best known of these boxes is Lemarchand’s Box, which features prominently throughout the Hellraiser movie series.

How many lament configurations are there?

With 43,252,003,274,489,856,000 possible combinations, even Pinhead would find himself bedeviled in a quest for the solution.

Why do people solve the box in Hellraiser?

In every Hellraiser film, the Lament Configuration’s purpose is to open the gateway between the human world and Hell. This gate is opened whenever anyone solves the puzzle, but importantly, the person opening it has to on some level be amenable to the sadistic “pleasures” it has in store.

What happens when you solve the box in Hellraiser?

After the puzzle has been completely solved the puzzle box will open up a portal to the Labyrinth. Within the Hellraiser universe this realm is a parallel dimension from which the Cenobites originate, as well as the home which they inhabit.

Is Pinhead the engineer?

Oddly enough, in Barker’s story The Hellbound Heart, The Engineer is presented completely differently, and is actually the leader of the Cenobites that Kirsty encounters, not Pinhead.

What happens if Pinhead gets the box?

The faithfully recreated puzzle box will appear on the map, and if the Survivors leave it alone, it starts to summon those tricky Chains. If Pinhead picks up his own Lament Configuration, he chains everyone on the map and reveals their location.

How did Pinhead become Pinhead?

In Hellraiser III: Hell on Earth (1992), it is learned that Spencer’s reversion to his human form caused the negative attributes of himself to manifest into an independent entity, which takes the form of Pinhead.

Is Pinhead good or evil?

The third film radically altered the original concept, making Pinhead into a purely evil demon of chaos, explained by Pinhead losing the human, ‘orderly’, part of himself during the previous film.

Will Pinhead get a map DBD?

The game’s 21st chapter adds only the Cenobite dubbed “Pinhead” from Hellraiser — no new map or Survivor this time.

Was Pinhead a good guy?

According to this definition, Pinhead is a villain. He even speaks to this neutral aspect of his character when he tells Kirsty that he and the other Cenobites are “Demons to some. Angels to others.” Therefore, an encounter with Pinhead is akin to being caught in a natural disaster—neither evil nor good.

What is the distance between the leading and trailing edges of wings?

The distance from the leading to trailing edges is called the chord. The ends of the wing are called the wing tips, and the distance from one wing tip to the other is called the span. The shape of the wing, when viewed from above looking down onto the wing, is called a planform.

What is the chord length of an aircraft wing?

For most modern aircraft, the chord length varies along the span, and the leading and trailing edges may be swept. The wing area is the projected area of the planform and is bounded by the leading and trailing edges and the wing tips. Note: The wing area is NOT the total surface area of the wing.

What factors determine the wing design of an aircraft?

Their particular design for any given aircraft depends on a number of factors, such as size, weight, use of the aircraft, desired speed in flight and at landing, and desired rate of climb. The wings of aircraft are designated left and right, corresponding to the left and right sides of the operator when seated in the cockpit.

What is the wing area of a plan?

The wing area is the projected area of the planform and is bounded by the leading and trailing edges and the wing tips. Note: The wing area is NOT the total surface area of the wing. The total surface area includes both upper and lower surfaces.
