I turn a lot off just to, hopefully, get some headroom: MSAA = off. Ground Shadows = off. Cockpit Shadows = depends on my mood.

What does VSync do in DCS?

VSync, or vertical sync, is a graphics technology that synchronizes the frame rate of a game with a gaming monitor’s refresh rate. First developed by GPU manufacturers, this tech was a way to deal with screen tearing, which is when your screen displays portions of multiple frames in one go.

Does DCS use Vulkan?

Up to now, DCS World has been using DirectX with recent iterations supporting DirectX11. Vulkan (and DirectX12) is a more modern API that lets developers have more direct access to hardware which, when done right, speeds up rendering time and improves performance and smoothness.

in thу DCS World the SCALE GUI feature can be found in Options menu -> System TrackIR. Partly or completely does not work a vision control on some axes. You have to delete the input file from the folder C:\\Users\\ \\Saved Games\\DCS\\Config\\Input\\ \\Trackir\\

Why is my game loading so slow in DCS?

Try decreasing DCS graphic settings, set them to medium or low and then check gameplay. Perhaps you need to reduce the number of monitors if you have multimonitor setup.
