For maximum effectiveness, we recommend you wear ThermaCare for the full 8 hours. Do not use for more than 8 hours in any 24 hour period OR for more than 7 days in a row (4 days in a row for menstrual product). Place on pain area on lower back or hip with darker discs toward skin. Attach firmly.

How do you use ThermaCare heat wraps?
Bring the heat: To get some relief from period pain, try placing heat wraps for menstrual cramps on your lower abdomen. Put it below your belly button with the adhesive side against your underwear. Also take a warm shower or bath. Even drinking a warm beverage like tea could help.

Can you sleep with a heat patch on? They can provide heat based pain relief for up to 8 hours helping you manage pain. However, they should not be worn during sleep. Prolonged pressure on the heat patch is not recommended and hence they must be removed before you go to bed.
